• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect basic identifiers such as your name, email address (if provided), and your unique user reference ("userRef").
• Mood Check-Ins: When you log how you feel, including selecting a mood category, core emotion, mood intensity, and any written reflections, this information is stored under your userRef.
• Affirmations: Any affirmations sent to you by the Moodeo system based on your mood are stored and linked to your userRef so that you can revisit them over time and receive more tailored affirmations in the future.
• Let It Out Submissions: Anonymous vents posted through the “Let It Out” feature are stored under your userRef, though they are displayed publicly without revealing your identity.
• Usage Data: We may collect data related to how you use the app (e.g., time spent in features, screens visited, reactions to content) to improve functionality and user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to enhance your Moodeo experience, including but not limited to:

• Generating personalized affirmations based on your emotional input.
• Displaying a visual history of your moods to help you identify emotional patterns and trends.
• Allowing you to view saved affirmations and past submissions.
• Improving app features, content relevance, and user engagement.
• Monitoring app performance and identifying areas for improvement.

3. Data Storage & Security

All user data is securely stored in our cloud-based system and associated with your userRef. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Although we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data, but we continuously monitor and improve our systems to stay ahead of risks.

4. Anonymity and Community Features

All posts made via the “Let It Out” feature are publicly visible but remain anonymous. No personally identifiable information is attached or visible to other users when you post or react through this feature. However, each post is internally linked to your userRef for moderation and personalization purposes.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data. You may:

• Request to view the information we have collected under your userRef.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Opt out of non-essential data tracking or app updates (where applicable).

We retain your mood logs, affirmations, and Let It Out entries for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days unless otherwise required by law.

Moodeo does not sell or share your personal or emotional data with advertisers or third parties. We may use third-party analytics tools solely to understand app performance and user behavior in a non-identifiable way.
